An absolute fan favorite coming back yo you with an old school twist thanks to the pre-2003 AK-47. The GID is known for thought provoking, productively energetic buzz and razor sharp focus that settles into a light body relaxation that wont couch lock you, but definitely lifts the mood and therapeutically relieves those aches and pains, while providing energy to take on whatever life has in front of you that day.(Daytime or Social time recommended) The AK-47 added additional Funky notes and a nice wide range of phenos from more of a balanced hybrid effects to sativa/NLD leaning effects.
Aromas and flavors on the Viva La Raza are funky diesel earth, basement funk meets citrus wood cleaner with a hint of fresh cut unripened melon with with tertiary fainter notes of earthy herbal diesel citronella that are extremely complex & hard to identify thanks to the GID with its layered lemongrass and citronella complexity. Some outliers are creamy citronella and another was an orange garlic pepper diesel scent that overwhelmingly herbal in the front notes(think fresh garlic and herbs with gas) was out of this world! These are good producers with very tight stacks typically across the pheno range. Many outliers in this line too some big chunkers and some serious sativa leaning phenos to be found! They can go purple or green, a fairly even mix of purple(mostly on leaf, not calyx) or green phenos on the F1 racehorse. Potent sativa effects to balanced hybrid gently leaning sativa without being racey. Definitely more of a daytime or evening strain, but not a right before bed kind of varietal. An absolute olfactory blessing and the room notes are sure to take you back a couple decades.
